Krylex KP1137 200ml Activator for Instant Adhesives
Krylex KP1137 is a solvent-based activator formulated to increase the cure speed of Krylex cyanoacrylate adhesives.
Applications
This activator is used to give instant curing of Krylex cyanoacrylate adhesives. Especially suitable for use with slower, high viscosity grades and with porous substrates, where the adhesive must cure before being absorbed. It may also be used to “fillet cure” Krylex cyanoacrylate adhesives and to cure adhesive outside the bond line.
Instructions For Use
KP1137 activator should be applied to the area to be bonded by spraying, brushing, or wiping. Then wait for the solvent carrier to evaporate (normally 10-30 seconds). Apply the appropriate Krylex cyanoacrylate grade to the part to be bonded and assemble.
KP1137 has an on-part life of approximately 1 minute. If parts are not assembled within 1 minute, KP1137 should be re-applied. Alternatively, assemble parts using the appropriate Krylex cyanoacrylate, then spray the exposed bond joint with KP1137 to cure the adhesive instantly. However the speed of cure with Krylex activators will depend on the substrates being bonded and the adhesive grade.
