Resins or synthetic resins are UV-curing liquid plastics. These materials are used in 3D printers such as stereolithography (SLA). These photosensitive resins can be cured by laser or light, transforming into a solid model. The liquid resin is exposed at desired locations with the 3D printer, curing the resin. This technique makes it possible to produce components with a high surface quality and level of detail.
