AmeraLabs FLX-300 flexible elastomer resin provides an excellent balance of compressibility, elasticity and dimensional accuracy. This rubber-like elastomer resin is ideal for 3D printing gaskets, soft robotics, vibration dampers and custom-fit parts requiring repeated compression and deformation.
The defining feature is its exceptionally low compression set, ensuring 3D printed parts reliably return to their original shape after compression. This maintains consistent performance over time – grippers retain grip force, dampers continue absorbing impact, gaskets maintain sealing pressure, and custom-fit parts preserve their cushioning properties.
Combined with low water absorption, this flexible elastomer resin maintains dimensional stability in humid environments, critical for sealing applications where swelling would compromise fit.
FLX-300 exhibits low shrinkage during post-curing for accurate part geometry. After proper post-curing, the surface becomes completely non-tacky with a smooth, silicone-like softness, making parts ready for immediate use.
